Pour l'histoire, l'un des événements majeurs de 1975 restera la fin de la guerre au Vietnam. Pour le cinéma, le cinéma expérimental et l'art vidéo, l'année 1975 fut riche en oeuvres majeures de réalisateurs et d'artistes que j'admire particulièrement : Andreï Tarkovski, Artavazd Péléchian , Stanley Kubrick, Jonas Mékas, William Wegman et le plasticien Michel Journiac , inventeur de l'art corporel, dont la plus célèbre performance est une messe durant laquelle du boudin fait avec son propre sang servait pour communier à la place du pain.L'idée de réunir et de faire dialoguer ces oeuvres de 1975 s'est naturellement imposée à moi pour ce projet. Imbriquer des images de ces oeuvres avec l'intuition de trouver ou de créer par la magie du montage, des liens et des passages secrets entre ces oeuvres. J'ai découvert que toutes ces oeuvres avaient de merveilleux liens entre-elles. Des oeuvres si immenses que je n'aurai jamais osé me les approprier pour les détourner, avec un infini respect, sans le hasard et l'opportunité de cette proposition de travail sur l'année 1975. Une contrainte qui est devenue un cadeau, un réel bonheur.Heureux hasard également de travailler sur l'année 1975 pour un projet célébrant l'art vidéo car c'est cette l'année là que j'ai eu pour la première fois entre les mains une caméra vidéo. La première exposition d'oeuvres d'art vidéos d'artistes français à Paris eu lieu en 74 et je fais donc partie de la première génération d'artistes vidéastes français.La musique qui accompagne ce montage est pour moi l'une des plus fortes et originales créations musicales des années 70, le sublime "concert de Cologne" (Köln concert) que Keith Jarret enregistra en 1975.

For the story, one of the major events of 1975 will end the war in Vietnam. For the cinema, experimental film and video art, the year 1975 was rich in works of major filmmakers and artists that I particularly admire: Andrei Tarkovsky, Artavazd Pelechian, Stanley Kubrick, Jonas Mekas, William Wegman and artist Michel Journiac, inventor of body art, the most famous performance is a Mass during which the rod makes with his own blood was used for communion instead of bread. The idea to gather and talk to these works in 1975 has naturally imposed on me for this project. Embed images of these works with the intuition to find or create the magic of editing, links and secret passages between these works. I discovered that all these works had a wonderful relationship with each other. Works so huge that I never dared me to divert appropriate, with infinite respect, no chance and the opportunity to work on this proposal in 1975. A constraint that has become a gift, a real pleasure. Serendipity also working on a 1975 project video art celebrating because this is the year that I've had for the first time in the hands of a video camera. The first exhibition of artworks videos of French artists in Paris took place in 74 and I am therefore part of the first generation of video artists French. The music that accompanies this set is for me one of the most powerful and original musical creations of the 70s, the sublime "concert in Cologne" (Köln concert) that Keith Jarrett recorded in 1975.
